Lauren Kramer (Baltimore, Maryland) began at WVU in the Fall of 2021 in the Forensic and Investigative Science program. She graduated in May 2025 with a Bachelor of Science degree with an emphasis in the Forensic Examiner track. Throughout her undergraduate studies, Lauren developed a strong passion for forensic science education which ultimately shaped her goal of becoming a teacher. One of the most fulfilling aspects of her undergraduate experience was sharing the interesting things she learned with her friends and family. This experience sparked her desire to further her education to pursue a career in teaching.
Why did you choose WVU?
I chose to continue my education at WVU due to the profound impact that the program and its faculty had on me during my undergraduate degree. The WVU community created an environment of encouragement and support where everyone roots for your success.
Why did you choose to work with Dr. Morris?
During my time at WVU, I was given the opportunity to be an undergraduate research assistant for Dr. Morris. His extensive knowledge in the field, combined with his charismatic and supportive nature, creates the ideal environment to foster my growth both personally and in my future professional and academic pursuits.
